CLOSETXCHANGE $1 MILLION DOLLAR CONTEST

CLOSETXCHANGE $1 MILLION DOLLAR CONTEST

Chef Carlos La Cruz

NEW YORK, N.Y. June 21, 2013 – The celebration of ClosetXChange’s official launch event was held June 19th at AM Studios. The event was hosted by Dreams in Heels PR and attended by over 350 bloggers, editors, professionals, fashionistas and philanthropists combined. The big announcement of the night was the “Go Green, Get Green” referral contest celebrating the ClosetXChange launch. Guests were encouraged to be a part of the experience by inviting friends and uploading their closets to the site. There are several cash prizes including a grand prize up to $500,000.00! **
This event brought awareness to the ClosetXChange brand by introducing guests to the interactive media platform that combines the online swapping/shopping experience with an online social media community. The launch allowed the guests to meet the founders, to learn more about the site and to participate in a Q&A session to provide their feedback.
The evening started out with guests taking a walk down the pink carpet for fabulous photos and to engage in exclusive LIVE streaming interviews with En La Escena TV’s host, Thalia Perez. The Isnap photo sharing station provided by Eventige Media Group provided an energy boost to guests as they snapped photos to upload directly to FB, Twitter, and Instagram.
The exclusive guests enjoyed free drinks sponsored by Skyy Vodka, Signature pink cocktails made by Celebrity Venezuelan Chef, Carlos Enrique La Cruz and gourmet h’ordeurves served by Hell’s Kitchen. The DIHPR volunteers directed guests upstairs to the VIP Sponsors: Avon, Monster Energy, Havii Cosmetics, Shoes from Last Night, Nelz Polish, and Amy Priddy Arbonne.
As the crowd mingled and networked, the founder of ClosetXChange, Sandra Ortiz Juárez graced the runway and spoke about her vision and her hopes to provide a bonding experience for all women through ClosetXChange. We learned about the concept and history of ClosetXChange and how women can take advantage of the site. This brand is all about “Fashion Sense” allowing women’s closets to evolve through swapping or selling without breaking the bank.
Throughout the night, we witnessed a Swimwear presentation byCelebrity Designer, Xiomara Hernandez and a Couture Collection of Fashion Designer, Alina Lal of LAL Couture. Both runway shows were really exciting and well presented by the models. The hair and make up was done by: Lloyd Teddybear Coward, Kathe Cameron and Fiona Wills. The event was sponsored by: Scarguard, Dr. Robert Morin, Indie Flava Magazine, Social Lifestyle Magazine, Jay Stuart Promotions, Jay Jill Cosmetics, B Spa Bar and Treasured Scents.
