Congratulation to Chef Humberto Guallpa
Winner of the competition representing ECUADOR / Paella for the World is
a private non-profit institution whose main objective is to organize
activities in the United States to disseminate the authentic Spanish
American culinary traditions and to increase the consumption of products
from the Mediterranean diet. Paella for the World also plans to provide
scholarships to students of gastronomy and will honor food journalists
and chefs that best reflect the excellence of our cuisine. Chefs from
around the World MEET in Jersey City and Compete to make the best
PAELLA! Disseminating the authentic Spanish American culinary traditions
Guests from Spain visited the Hudson County Schools of Technology(Earl
W. Byrd School, 525 Montgomery Street, Jersey City, NJ 07302). This
tour was presided by New Jersey Assembly speaker Mr. Vincent Prieto. ,
and Workshop (Master Class) at Hudson County Schools of Technology(Earl
W. Byrd School, 525 Montgomery Street, Jersey City). This workshop was
offered by chef Jesus Melero, coordinator of the International
Valencian Paella Contest of Sueca.
